The very formation of DAV was to mould, train, educate and create a perfect human being, an upright citizen of this great country capable of leading the world in every discipline of life. For this DAV relies on its teachers; and rightly so, the DAV family is proud of them.
At the DAV, we realise that a teacher should, not only be well conversant in his subject, but should also be “Brahmnisht.” Which means that apart from being proficient in his subject, a teacher should posses the following qualities:
A teacher should have an over powering personal magnetism. When he speaks, the class must want him to carry on.
A teacher must have complete control over his "Indriyan". ( His senses). All 5 Gian indriyan and 5 Karan indriyan must be in his complete control. 5 Gian Indriyan are: sight, smell, taste, touch, hear. And 5 Karam Indriyan are hands, feet, eyes, nose, thought.
A teacher must walk the path of righteousness and truth as shown to us by Maharishi Dayanand ji.
Dear teachers, as we celebrate this Teachers’ Day, we pay homage to the great philosopher, thinker and above all, a great teacher, Dr Radha Krishna. Rejoice, be happy and KEEP SMILING. All the best !
